Had ulcerated over last couple of week, and had intemittently bled, for which patient had used compression.

Past h/o

 – Bacterial endocarditis 10-15 years back for which she was admitted to hospital for 3-4 months

 – Had repair of ? a pseudo aneurysm 6 years back

Ultrasound showed a false aneurysm arising from brachial artery

Had it repaired urgently that night.

Most likely she had a false aneurysm secondary to cannulation very close to the brachial artery (medial cubital or basilic vein) from her admission for the endocarditis
